Tattoo Care Instructions for a new tattoo owner. Follow these instructions carefully to best avoid infection or damage!
These tattoo care instructions are vital!
- Remove bandage after 1-2 hours.
- Wash with warm soapy water. (anti-bacterial soap)
- Pat dry with clean paper towel.
- Apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor healing ointment.
- Do not re-bandage.
- Wash and re-apply aquaphor 2-3 times daily for 2-3 days.
- Then use unscented lotion 3-5 times daily until healed.
- Keep out of pools, sun, hot tubs, salt water, tanning beds, 3 wks.
- Do not pick, scratch or molest tattoo in any way!!!
